The training pitch is apparently not up to Premiership standard. Or something.

Why do people think Gog is dropped?

He's missed a few weeks of rugby because of injury, Pitman is the form 8 and Pivac probably wants Gog to have a run to get match fit without being thrown in the deep end and facing Toulon - even from the bench.

He'll more than likely be in the mix for Leicester next week providing he come through the match today without any reaction to his injury.

It's a long season. It seems that Pivac is aware of this and doesn't want to push players if they're returning from injury. Earle played a match for the Drovers when returning from injury. KP played a match for the Drovers when looking for some form, look where he is this weekend?!

To me it seems that Pivac is using our feeder clubs as a way of rehabilitating players and/or getting them to find form. Isn't that what they're there for, at least until a full-fledged 'A' side is up and running?
.
It is just my opinion but I do feel that Rob has clearly dropped down the pecking order behind Aaron Shingler in Wayne's selection, and it is very different from him being club captain last couple of seasons -albeit playing out of position last year to help the club -as he is a good guy. It is just a shame as Rob loyally played out of position at 8 rather than his proper place as 6 and so has lost presence and continuity in that 6 role. However it is a long season as you rightly say and Shings may well be tied up with Wales so Rob has another chance to re-establish himself.

I'm not sure whether people don't listen or what - Wayne was clear that he would use the feeder clubs correctly I.E Bringing players back from injury. I fully expect to see Cawdor get a run in the RFC to complete his rehab.

Yes but unless they play regularly as a team or squad it becomes more like a scratch team and best (ignoring the injustice aspect) to stick with your core Quins team. At least Ponty are sticking to their principles -like them or not! The decline of Gog from Scarlets captain under Easterby to not being even a bencher shows how things change under a new coach to.Tough on him.

How many of these players are actually Quins players , im all for it being a scarlets A team but I find it unfair on the Quins who earned the right to play in the cup . Ponty And Cross Keys arent doing the same.
