Rokoduguni and Watson have left Bath. They seem to be losing a fair few players.

English Premiership rugby gets in more  revenue and has owners with deeper pockets but financially it is still  a mess. In the two seasons pre COVID the English Premiership Teams lost c£80m the Welsh regions around £5m . The CVC money has helped but the lowering of the salary cap was still necessary to give a chance of sustainability. it will be interesting to see what impact this will have on overall quality .
In their accounts for 2019 Wasps and London Irish led the way with losses of £9.7. & £10.5 m respectively.

With welsh and English sides cutting their squads again for next season then I believe that they will fall further behind when it comes to Europe and for the welsh sides the same for the URC.
You could see tonight that we struggled due to weaknesses within the match day squad, take out the players who are leaving and we are really leaving ourselves exposed in both competitions next season.
No English side made it through the 1/4 final stages this season, and with smaller squads next seaso I see that trend continuing.

Add in the fact that Leinster just keep getting stronger and the prospects for competition is pretty bleak. Yesterday they changed the vast majority of the 23 who beat Toulouse and still beat a pretty fully loaded Munster by 10 points.

Of the 13 Ireland internationals that started the province's semi-final dismantling of Toulouse, not one of them played in more than a third of their 18 league matches.

In fact, all of them played more international Test matches this season than they did league games, with the exception of James Lowe who played six of each.

Last weekend academy scrum-half Ben Murphy came on against Munster to become the 60th player to play for Leinster this season.

Johnny Sexton has not played a league match since October

Huge financial infrastructure in Dublin. South Wales not in a position to compete.

I see Regan Grace could be available in the summer. Could well be worth a punt. Lightning quick.

Now this lad Regan Grace will give LRZ a run for his money & he steps like Cheslin Kolbe. No brainer for any of the regions to take a punt. Reminds me very much of Jason Robinson - say no more!!!!!

Going on recent history we will have no chance as the other regions seem to get all Welsh prospects returning using WRU help.
She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.
