Good win to start the season. Toughed it out for the fist 39 mins and then snatched a deserved try just on the half time whistle with Daniel Gravell scoring a lovely try in the corner.

Ball retention, as with the Scarlets, is a problem with lots of good opportunities lost due to careless handling.

In the second half, the boys started to run a little more freely and an interception was forthcoming after pressure on their backs.

Some slack scrummaging allowed Bedwas some field position and they fought bravely to hold on to the `scarlet runners`.

2 sin binnings for us, GQ and Craig Hawkins and their wing Nathan Hill caused some imbalances during the half, Llanelli being lucky the GQ got binned as CH came back on.

Nice to see Lee Byrne come back and show some nice touches. Chris McDonald was excellent at 9, very promising player!

John Davies played well at 3 as always and overall the whole team showed a fighting spirit and organisation that was lacking at times last season, admitedly due to call ups most of the time.

Well done to SQ, Neil Boobyer and Sean Gale for their coaching efforts.

Great turnout by our fans, I'm sure we had more there than they did !!

Roll on next weekend, 2 more wins please

On call until 16.00 today, plus the fact I wasted money watching the footy last night, so no go for me today. Hurry up Friday, first home game of the season and an early shift on Saturday morning. You Mon-Fri workers don't know how lucky you are!

Another good report Supertaf keep 'em coming mate.
