Ladram, a net 61 should have meant you were escorted from the premises...put on a plane to Mexico, given a sombrero and a pistol and told to stand next to any dirt track and hold up any vehicles.Wink

I went round in 85 off the stick 2 weeks ago and got my handicap slashed from 18 to 15 by the Club Sec nicknamed the Assassin...since ethen I've scored 101 and 106 respectively...may as well have kicked the ball around FFS. 19 Stableford points on Sunday meant I had to clean everyone's shoes...Double FFS.

Not ideal prep as there's a massive game this weekend (back in Wales) on the South course at Royal Rosemarket (Pembs) -- oldest sons plus neighbour in a loser pays for dinner Texas Scramble...
Bragging rights will carry til the next time I'm home. Losing is not an option.

Back on to Rory Mac...I think his approach (especially on the green) just simplifies the game and makes it look like what it really should be...not John Daly's grip and rip approach but no fiffing about either... quick stalk of the putt, couple of practise strokes and off it goes. Liked his post match interview...off to parteyyyy!

i was 24 handicap when i walked in to sign in ,i'd had 3 weeks where i didn't have any work on and i'd played every other day,i was 1 under gross coming off the 7th .4 pars,2 birdies and 1 bogey,i only reached those dizzy heights on one occasion shooting a 78 off 16 handicap, the last time i played about 3 years ago i never broke a 100.Big smile
