I definitely would as they'd lose every game by 50+. The salary would be the icing on the cake.

Sounds to me like he's still coaching tackle and breakdown area, and the rest of defense (ruck, maul, backline etc) is shared between anybody who fancies it. Which shows on the pitch. |

think good moves Wil, Ben Franks certainly has more experience and presence than richard kelly and emyr phillips is a sharp upcoming coach who has certainly played at the highest level.

Jonathan Thomas has been let go at Worcester Warriors, sure Scarlets could do worse than someone who has operated in the English Premiership for Bristol and Worcester as a forwards coach and Head Coach along with his pedigree - although it would obviously be a step down from his Head Coach role.
As experienced and good a player Franks was, his only coaching experience so far has been as a scrum coach for the Scarlets. |

I like this idea on a short term deal, see if there is any noticeable improvements. Having said that Worcester lose more than we do!!

You make a valid point. The coaching 'profile' has picked up a lot of indifferent attention around the relative 'experiences' of the incumbents. Pre Worcester his 3 or 4 seasons as defence/forward coach at Bristol is a good addition to his CV. Pembs lad too of course. |
