This is the B&I table after last weekends fixtures...

Llanelli have Nottingham in a crunch game on Saturday at Parc y Scarlets...3.30pm KO I think...

They then have Melrose at home and and Bristol away next month...top of each pool go through to the semi final...no home and away, just one game against each team.

Drovers still in with a shout, but have lost to Ponty in the first round.

Pool B P W D L  F A Pts
1 Llanelli 2 2 0 0 48 27 9
2 Munster 2 1 0 1 60 29 6
3 Nottingham 1 1 0 0 37 23 5
4 Bristol 1 0 0 1 23 37 0
5 Esher 1 0 0 1 14 33 0
6 Melrose 1 0 0 1 14 47 0

Pool D P W D L  F A Pts
1 Pontypridd 2 2 0 0 61 30 9
2 Llandovery 2 1 0 1 52 45 4
3 Bham & Shull 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
4 Doncaster 0 0 0 0 0 0 0
5 Rotherham 1 0 0 1 17 34 0
6 Ayr 1 0 0 1 12 33 0

Birmingham & Solihull are rubbish and I don't think they'll take it too seriously as they have a major relegation fight on.  I reckon Pontypridd will walk that group.  Nottingham are good and might put it a bit higher in their priorities as they are unlikey to go up.  I reckon if the boys can win on Saturday it could be looking good.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"
