It’s Chateau de Crezancy 2020 14% strength, about £15.99, iirc. Will do once tasted.

Hopefully a mixed six order for you. £6 reduction is very good.

That’s like an Aladdin’s Cave for the beer drinker.

And it’s in Llanelli!!!!

So many interesting drinks. Where do you start?

No doubt the staff will help.

You can’t really go wrong with a bottle of montepulciano d’Abruzzo. I’m not a big wine drinker but I could happily drink a bottle of that.
Also, I recommend a bottle of Farnese, and Italian wine, both white and red, from Laithwaites. I used to order it by the crate - requesting a mixed crate, so that I could enjoy both.
From a malt whiskey point of view, I’d highly recommend anything fro Penderyn (Welsh and very close to the Scarlets).  I’m a member and have bought most of their whiskey’s, and find them all very nice, however, my recommendation would be the rich oak (mainstream malt whiskey and reasonably priced) or the Bryan Terfil (limited edition), which comes in a special bottle with a r3d velvet casing - although due to its extra purchase cost and increased after sale value I now begrudge opening it.

Whisky wise i like bushmills/jamesons not really tried much penderyn as yet. The scottish whiskys are a bit harsh for me what would penderyn be most similar to? That red yday was ok bit dry i hAd a nicer st emilion from marks for a tenner less!

I find Penderyn less harsh than some of the Scottish single malts, but generally single malts can appear harsh, especially when compared to the blended whiskeys.

"Looks decent" is fascinating RR. I have a picture of you taking said bottle home, decanting it and  & testing the nose while you build to a frenzy for tonight's tasting. I can't wait to hear the verdict. Wink

The Chateau de Crezancy 2020 opened to accompany the Stormers v Glasgow.

Quite light for the strength and could do with some food to go with it perhaps. Slips down well.
