We have 2 weeks to iron out at least some of our problems. Coupled with all the positive attacking rugby that we’ve played against Cardiff x2, Dragons x1 and Ospreys 1st half.
With a smidgeon of “big crowd for the last game of the season” (at the moment I hope to put in a 400 mile round trip for the match).
At Parc Y Scarlets.
On a beautiful Spring day,
Then I am really hopeful of a win result against the Stormers.
It will really iron out the many wrinkles of the season and offer a fantastic Springboard to our 150 years next year.

Top 8:
* Out of reach, as Edinburgh cannot be overtaken.

Welsh Shield battle:
* Ospreys currently ahead on games-won, despite a worse points difference and fewer Bonus Points.
* Losing scenarios: Both Ospreys and Scarlets could lose and it could come down to a Losing Bonus Point shoot-out? Two on offer - score four tries, finish within seven. But Ospreys have more games-won, so is it immaterial?
* Winning scenarios: If Scarlets beat Stormers and Ospreys lose to Bulls, we top the shield. If both win, Ospreys still ahead of games-won but Scarlets have a superior BP.

Ospreys play Bulls on the Friday night. We play Stormers the following day so we'll know what we need  to do. Toby Booth, quite rightly, not happy with this.

If we finish equal on points to the Os, they go ahead. We need to get more league points than they do on the last weekend.

Toby can huff and puff, but teams will be selected before the first game kicks off and whatever happens on Friday, we have to go all out to win on Saturday, because at 5pm on Sat, even if the Os lose on Friday, we will need to score points.
We're still still here, but I wish we were in an Anglo-Welsh

Who gives a toss what the wide boy Booth thinks his side weren’t sent to SA in the midst of a Covid outbreak and locked away for 14 days in Ireland.

She asks why i still can't answer. I guess its in the blood.

The ospreys are certainly in the driving seat now.  We are really going to rue the home defeats to Connacht and the dragons.  We were in command in both those games at around the 50/60 minute marks but failed to finish them off.
If I was going to be critical of the coaching team, in both those games they changed both halfbacks at the same time.  I believe that you should only change both halfbacks when your either losing the match (and have nothing to lose) or when your at least 2 scores clear and can afford to lose some of your control and some of your lead.

Tbh that doesn’t excuse the embarrassing loss at home to the dragons. An awful collapse

When the Scarlets received an apology from the URC officials , stating that 21 points should not have stood.... Little wonder there was a collapse .

What good is an apology though, same after the Andy Brace show in Edinburgh, another apology ....Eight match points lost ...Simply cost up top eight, no excuse whatsoever for these errors by officials ... Including TMO ,four pairs of eyes, numerous replays and camera angles .

Hopefully Blade will be able to play ? All the other injured in the main 23 are going to be still absent aren’t they? I hope Liam will be available as we need all hands on deck. 🙏

Hopefully the fact we still have another week off will help to bring some players back into the fold.

I hope they don't  have another "week off" though I suspect you mean another week of training and preparation.   However this extra week provides more potential for training injuries so we may end up in the same boat.Dead
Keep the faith

Yeah I meant in terms of actually not playing. Looks like little or no training happened last week as a few of the boys (& their other halves) were enjoying the sites of Dubai.

100% agree Mark. Ive said it so many times, people underestimate the impact decisions have on a game and how heads drop after a run of dubious ones. Yes a good side should still overcome that but we dont have the mental strength at the moment.

Spot on. I don’t think the whole world is out against us. There’s plenty of incidents week in week out where decisions have gone against teams.
