Ieuan is our greatest ever winger imo the only reason I didnt pick him is because I figured this was a team of folk hero mavericks, the carmarthen cowboy always seemed very straight laced to me, compared to the larger than life personas of grav, jim scarlet , perego and co lol

Everyone's got their definition of folk hero, but Phil May and Laurence Delaney would be in my XV anyway - both had over 500 appearances for Llanelli in 3 different decades. I'd swear Phil May played until he was 60.

Yes indeed thats a crazy amount of games, he taught me history for a while , we were too scared to ask him about rugby history lol
