Leinster scrape it 6-7.
Very poor error strewn game. Leinster were as poor as I’ve seen in recent years. 18 turnovers, 12 penalties. Drags defence was very good, and their exits were excellent. |

7 - 6 final score, Leinster restricted to just 1 try in the first half, no score for them second half. It’s just a same that the dragons couldnt get that extra penalty kick second half.
Leinster won’t play that badly again, yet still managed to win a tight contest.

I just hope that Leinster's accuracy is the same in two weeks time though I very much doubt it. A combination of very poor execution by Leinster & dogged defending produced an exciting, if poor, contest. Josh Lewis is looking a decent 15 so far this season - plenty of pace and a good footballer. Dragons lineout was woeful until Taylor Davies came on.

He is areal rough diamond but has a huge amount of potential. The Welsh 7 shirt has a queue forming of very talented players. Tipuric, Ellis Jenkins, Jac Morgan, Josh McLoud, Basham, Ollie Griffiths, Reffell & I haven't mentioned guys like Lewis, Thomas & Young who are holding down the position at Premiership clubs. That list is ridiculous.

Just read about a pretty disturbing issue from May which involved Cory Hill. Apparently he and a few friends, worse for wear it seems, decided to take out some sort of revenge attack on someone's home causing a lot of damage. it turned out that it was the wrong house and the mother & her young children were left terrified.
Cory's apology through Cardiff RFC attempted to suggest that it was only wrong because it was the wrong house - can you believe it - perhaps our game is better off without the idiot. Quite why he is not behind bars escapes me.

I was following the story as it was unfolding on radio Wales, it appeared that the police tried to persuade the women to drop the case as it would probably take a lot of time to deal with and wouldn’t result in a conviction, it was suggested that this could have been due to the profile of one of the offenders.
One isssue I have with the whole nasty incident is that he and the other offenders apologised for causing undue distress to the family caught up in the incident, stating that they got the wrong address. If they only stopped at causing criminal damage to the house when they realised they had the wrong house, would they have stopped at just smashing up the windows and doors had they had the correct address. A very frightening incident and it looks like good riddance that he’s gone to Japan to ply his trade.
