Finn Russell on fire with 2 tries. Toulon might be in for a long season based on how they were manhandled by the Racing pack.

I am not Finn's biggest fan but he must have had a fine game. Typical of our luck to not get Toulon in our group when they are on the slide!!!!!

Well after the first 3 games what do we all think?
I don’t want to talk them up too much but a very weak Leinster side gave Cardiff hell. In fairness the Blues capitulated, but the Leinster attitude and ability to grind down teams is just scary.

Edinburgh and the Ospreys seemed to cancel each other out, from what I saw of it. Both will take their scalps this season, but both need to improve to challenge for the play offs especially the Os. Their backline looked good going forward and defensively mind. As if should seeing as its at least half Scarlet

I didn’t see much of Zebre / Kings but solid win for Zebre by the looks of things? They’ll surprise some teams at home I think. Don’t see what the Kings bring though.

The Blues threw it away really but you cannot ever write off a Leinster team even if it is the 2nd team. At 29-14 with 4 tries already & 30 minutes to go the Blues should have been able to get there. Lots to work on. The Ospreys match was awful for 50 minutes. They had plenty of possession but lacked the spark. Scott & Aled were solid & George looked hungry for work which is good to see. I noticed that Scott kicked more in this game than he did in a whole season with us - clearly part of the gameplan. Botha looks a decent signing as the O's scrum had the edge. Cockers won't be happy - far too many mistakes. Too early to judge anyone yet.

Ospreys have little depth, they will surely sacrifice Europe in pursuit of a league finish to play top tier next term.

Starting 10 ( Price) looks to have sustained a long term knee injury, after Sam they are down to the likes of Hook as their best option.

They have a decent opening 5 games. They need to go well as the squad depth will count against them as the season develops.
