More or less won Le Tour today, he will need to fall of tomorrow or in Sat time trial now not to win it. So if (when) he wins it will it be one of the greatest achievements ever by a British sportsperson? Yes in my opinion.

Most definitely the greatest British sporting achievement, EVER.
It's not always about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

In 1972, Roy Bergiers scored that try and said "that was for you lofty"
