Rhys Williams????

He's had so many chances and every time he's shown how weak he is in defence on the wing.  Shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up.

I say stick Gareth Thomas on the wing, move Henson to full back and use Shanklin outside Parker at 13.

I saw rhys williams play in the arms park on friday night and he was class.Looked so sharp he looked a threat every time he had the ball!

It's all very well looking sharp and threatening in attack, but we have to defend when we haven't got the ball.  Rhys just can't perform as well in defence as he does in attack, as I'm sure you'll agree Plum.  He showed this out in Ireland in last season's Six Nations.  Can we really take the risk??

i agree with scarlet boy there. we all know how dangerous he isin attack, but he cant tackle at all. though, putting shanklin in, im not sure. i dont really like his defending either. id put kevin morgan full back and thomas on the wing instead of rhys. rest of the team i cant argue with.

Mark Taylor is a must for Wales surely. Please. It'll keep him out of Stradey for at least 3 weeks!

But what we would do to have him in the Scarlets back-line! I agree he's not the best of defenders (Barry Davies & Matthew Watkins) but he's got the cutting edge that you need to unlock strong defenses, and lets face it our back-line couldn't break a kit-kat let alone a defense!

i'm sorry but i dont think rhys williams would bring much to the side. the most important aspect of a full backs play is his defence and that part of his game is no better than barry davies'

Exactlly which is why Wales have been playing him on the wing! Havent you been watching the welsh games! We need pace on the wings and Luscombe hasnt got that, i just hope he doesnt get exposed!
