I think we can make a game of it, theres a good blend in the team with some young players and players that have been there and done it.

I know South Africa have looked good earlier in the year but who cares, we are the underdogs and lets hope we get a shock win!

Im going to be optimistic and say Wales win

34 - 33!

I can't see us proving to be any sort of meaningful opposition to the Springboks, we'll start well, false sense of security and all that, then the Boks will kick into gear, and maul us. Luscombe , sorry, as well as a few of the other players included.
Looking forward to seeing Ryan Jones play in red...should be inthe red of the Scarlets but there you are.
Wales 17 - South Africa 48
(Please prove me very wrong boys)
"I can't see the Germans getting back into this...they've only got Kuntz up front..."

SA by more than 20 points, wales are a second division rugby nation and will be until way after the next world cup. Regional sides 1 win out of 8 in Europe says it all. Finances are in a mess, the gravy train suits still plunder the games resources at ALL levels (Stradey social club being a prime example), we are no nearer competing at the top level than we were 20 years ago. Don't mention Henry's reign, that was another fiasco of a world cup. We are at the level of Argentina/Italy/Canada these days, don't forget the 3 teams we STRUGGLED to beat in the world cup, or is someone going to actually brag up LOSING to England/All Blacks at the same tourny? God knows what the answer is, probably selling the Millstone stadium and somehow legally disbanding the WRU and getting a firm of accountants and a marketing firm to run the game. A lot of you younger posters have been brought up on average rugby and constant defeats, a culture where these days even losing brings hope. The two world cup defeats were actually celebrated! some of us older posters are bitter because we've seen first hand the slow, painful deterioration of the world's greatest rugby nation, and yes, I mean Wales.....

I think we'll have a good showing for the first few home games under Ruddock. Good coach, new tactics and all but it's the same old WRU in charge so it's not going to work well in the long run. Wales 15-31 SA.

What you have forgotten is that during the time when Wales were "world's greatest rugby nation" we hardly ever beat NZ or SA.  So in that respect nothing has changed.
