Great win up there last season...tough place to go but this is a really pivotal game for our Top 4 aspirations...they are up there in the league too...a proper 8 pointer...
Can't see anyone other than Stephen and maybe Liam being released from Team Wales due to it being a Thursday KO, and the Wales squad carrying more knocks..

We are short of cover in the second row if Day is not fit, hooker too, but mostly in the back row...Sione to cover the back row off the bench and Adam Powell the second row. Last year our pack being made up of a mix of players from the semi pro and bench of the main team would have filled us with dread...totally different now...looking forward to see these guys go this week.

19 players on International duty as I see it U18's/20's - Jordan, Dan T, Kirby, Iolo. Seniors -Ben, Sean, Rhodri J, Smiler, Lou, Stephen, Rhys P, Scott, Liam, George, Foxy, Ken. 7's - Richie P, Lee Rees, Lee W.

7 players un-available through injury--Dale Ford, Aled Davies, Morgan Stoddart, Rob McCusker, Tavis Knoyle, Rhys Thomas, Nick Cudd

1.Iestyn
2.Emyr
3.The Meat
4.Welch
5.Day (fit?)
6.Matt
7.Jedward
8.Murphy

9.Gareth
10.Stephen (Aled if not made available)
11.Fenners
12.Warren
13.Maule
14.Iongi
15.Liam (Newts if not made available)

Subs
Deacon Manu
Craig Hawkins
Phil J
Sione Timani
Adam Powell
Liam D (I'd bench hime bofore Rhodri to give us some physicality)
Aled Thomas
Nick Reynolds (need wing/centre cover)

Anyone know of Josh's injury status??
A really great guy to come back in for these matches...

Any news on Turnbull?? Will he be it or not??

I'd say that we may get Rhodri, Stevo and Liam back from Wales. Lou must surely be on the bench for the Scots if Davies is out. Shingler could be close too.

Wil's team looks about right. Timani didn't look match fit in Sale, so I don't think he'll start unless Day is out.

Rhodri may well be released, as the Wales props did OK v the irish.
I share no-one's ideas. I have my own.

Can't fault your team Wil, although I might be tempted to include Luke Kendall as backrow cover (instead of Adam)

With 4 posts from 227 reads interest seems to be a little subdued in this game...time to add a Kylie pic (when the ladies complain we'll get one of Hugh Jackman posted up)...

Right, match day is 48 hours hence let's get you're thoughts on the team posted please (thanks go to the other 3 posters on this thread)

I think the fact that you have pretty much picked the only players available there isn't much to discuss?

Exactly, we are somewhat down to the bare bones, bit like Kylie in parts. Looks like she needs a good feed mun.

Huge game this, as a win will take the pressure off the away trip to Leinster and set us up nicely for Connacht and Treviso. Realistically, we need 3 wins from the next 4 to stay in touch/push on, whichever way you look at it.

Given Rhys is fit now, surely Stevo will be released from the Welsh squad altogether and will start.

Hope we will have Liam also

Can I coach please?

I didn't pick Rhodri Williams (thought Liam would stimulate some pow-wow), Chris Keenan, Dan Evs, Simon Gardiner...I asked if anyone knew about Josh (useful if he was about) and Dom (if he was fit)..speculated who would/wouldn't get released by team wales and had a run through our injuries and call ups...I though there was plenty to go for TBH.

Anyone know how many Glasgow players are unavailable? There were 6 in the Scotland v England match day squad, plus another 13 in the second team - but as Wales don't have an 'A' team any more, I suppose they'll have quite a few of those second teamers back?

Ahem - Hugh Jackman pic please!!!

Good team choice by the way! Don't think Galley would be ready yet, he's been out injured too long and not had enough game time to be thrown in at the deep end in a league game.
Yum, yum, milky, milky!

I was reading an article on the Glasgow website where 1 of their players who were playing for the seconds said he was looking forward to the game against England Saxons game and then the game for Glasgow against the Scarlets the week after

So i think they could have a fairly strong squad available
