One point among many that was disappointing about our 6 Nations was the situation at 15. When Gatland picked the squad my guess was that he saw Rhys had been brought is as a back up 15 to Byrne. Byrne was out of form long before coming into the 6 Nations and continued that form throughout yet the opportunity to identify clear alternatives was missed.
