Very significant hike that...excellent news. Big boost. The Jersey trip was part of the sell so that seems to have done the trick...

..so THAT's What Darran Phillips has been up to!!

Good news. I'm also not surprised that the season ticket sales are up. The marketing has been much better.

Darran Phillips has seemingly been hard at work on gaining new business for the club ( as was reported on the Forum in a prior CRYS16 set of meeting notes with the Management team ). Seems like the hard work is paying dividends from these 35% plus set of figures. You will recall that he and the club were keen to have a range of sponsors and not risk income in the hands of a few , so bets are hedged.
Darran's role is very different to previous CEO Mark's so hopefully, the trend will continue on income generation BUT of course, the team and supporters /ticket sales needs to do their bit as well to make the season a financial success. Good news though.

Good news this. As well as the increased sponsorship cash we have more local businesses with a stake in promoting the club which will surely mean better engagement in the community and help to build local support.
Well done to the commercial team.

David Stock has also been looking at ways to boost season ticket sales as the relatively new General Manager Venue and deserves credit. Fingers crossed for some improvement on match day experience. David did appreciate the Crys16 survey feedback so any nudges in improvement will be good as some attention is needed from supporter feedback.

It is nice to hear, though with the lack of any figures it is difficult to draw any real financial conclusions from this. Hopefully this is just the start of an improved off field performance.

Great news on the surface!!

Although a little sceptical as no financial figures are mentioned.

The cynic in me says it's a good spin on the increase in the number of sponsors, but what increase in sponsorship income does it translate to?

Indeed. the number of sponsors is up 35% but whats the amount? If it puts your mind at rest I can confirm the communication has been much better than before

Oooh press release spin...I'm in..

So last year we had 3 new sponsors and this year we have 4...= 35%

Yes we have a 35% increase in new sponsors ( but a 65% reduction in long standing sponsors !)

Seriously though, I'm taking this at face value...new investors in the club = great.
