Take it you never bought the insurance they try and sell you.. Any mileage in phoning up to cancel on the basis that your box is goosed?

I've got everything I can by conning Sky. (Orange, BT and other big wig companies.)
 You have to be careful not to try too often. I had free broadband about a month ago. You'd have to be pretty gullible to take out their insurance policy. I can get a cheap enough box on E-bay I was just wondering if there was anyone local. Big companies are easy to bargain with. |

My Sky box went, it was the original PACE item with no + or razzle dazzle, lasted ten years, not bloody bad for an electrical item. Phoned Sky up, told them i was Skyless, i had a new SKY + and HD all sent and fitted free in two days from the call. Bloody marvellous, best thing ever, you have to experience High Definition TV and watch sport on it, worth every penny of the monthly charge, pausing live TV, record two programmes at once, bloody great it is.
