Thats a very crude generalisation. They dominated second half, missed several scoring chances when the game opened up in the last 15 minutes. We missed 4 penalties, but being -3 the ball wasn't flying any distance, but no fault of the kicker, it was literally freezing. So close yet so far.

A hard lesson for the boys but conditions were brutal, several injuries to both sides. Playing on a frozen surface didn't help, but overall a very good campaign and they all deserve to be commended on a valiant attempt to retain the Cup. ClapClapClap

Why did the ref allow the game to be played if conditions were so bad? If as bad as what you say, that`s pretty appalling treatment of U16s.
Is it Henry, the mild mannered janitor?????

Because it was delayed by 2 weeks, kickoff brought forward 45 minutes and the ref wanted to abandon the game with 10 to go but it would have meant us being ko'd so we elected to finish the game.

CT - I have to agree with Pimp on this one. If the ground conditions were as bad as you're saying, then the game shouldn't have finished - let alone started. If a player got seriously injured the ref would have been liable as the conditions were too bad to play in.

Was he under pressure for the match to be played??

I'm very surprised the game was played (& completed) if it was as bad as it sounds.
I share no-one's ideas. I have my own.
