Gutted Patchell out but good to see back Steff on the wing. Two strong team on the field..I dont think they are in crisis. Great experienced team, Nakarawa, Claasen, Rokocoko all players to watch with great importance.
I confirm the good impression for O Brien, and Jones is ready from the bench. Davies and Parkes in the centres are a solid defence wall..
Hope all go well and can arrive the first european win of the year...come on Scarlets!

Just can’t fathom the O’Brien selection. Out of his depth in this game.

Is Dan Davis injured? I thought he was quality against the Kings but no sign of him since

I fear for us with that Racing team plus the weather. That's a massive Racing pack.

Are you basing this on your knowledge of O'Brien?

Dan Davis isn't in the ERC squad I believe.

Hang on now - give the lad a chance. Has he even started a game for us yet?

Dan Jones has had his chances and he hasn't exactly taken them with two hands.

He may be, but I’m not sure how any of us would know that for sure.

Coaches believe in him, that’ll do for me.

Angus O'Brien has also played a lot more games in his career than Dan Jones, so that extra experience may be part of the thinking in the absence of Patchell.

But you know, even though he hasn’t started a game for us, that’s he out of his depth. Ok then.

big game for our pack (obviously). we need to make a statement, if we can slug it out with a pack of their size it will show the whole of Europe we are capable of matching anyone. sad about our injuries but that is still one strong team and with quality on the bench to freshen things up (which we will need).
big game for angus, but I have faith in him and he has quality around him to help.
they are an excellent side, but with the conditions will they fancy it? I watched one of their games recently with Clermont and their scrum struggled. maybe an area we can attack them?
big defence, good kick chase and with leighs goalkicking we can win this arm wrestle.
Once a Scarlet, always a Scarlet!
