Nice little bit of rotation from Mooar there, I'm excited to see Javan from the bench.

a little bit of turnover, right to concede game time to most players...good the come back of Elias and Shinghler....It will be a really hard match and a LBP could be really good..they are fielding people like Messam, Te'o, Gorgodze and Parisse in the bench...

Gone heavy in the pack! Certainly a good enough side to get a win.

Interesting rotations... Mooar again showing he wants the squad players to have chances and game time... I doubt anyone not selected to start can feel 'dropped' - it'd be interesting to know what Mooar says behind closed doors. At a guess - and it's only that - I expect he's made it clear to everyone that they will be rotated (usual first choices) and that they will get a shot (squad players). That way, no-one can feel too disappointed when it's their turn to bench or miss out on the 23.
The most interesting selections are the half-backs, with Blacker having done consistently well off the bench, and Lamb showing a cool head and precision kicking last week. It's good for them to get a start, and also Hardy and Dan must need a bit of a break... I'd have been inclined to start Uzair, who's our top carrier ATM, but he can do with a (comparative) break, too... Sebastian and Helps are two development players off the bench - Javan certainly has the physique to do some damage in the scrums, though I'd have thought less mobile than Kruger... maybe we are expecting Toulon to attack that area, as French teams often do. Helps has done fine in his appearances to date. I don't know enough about Toulon to predict a result - they do have a few internationals, of course, and are hard to beat at home. Scarlets will go there with good spirit after the season's start, but it'll be tough to get anything out of the game, IMO -here's hoping, though.

Looking forward to seeing how that pack goes!! Looks to be very bulky - plenty of ballast for the scrums but also plenty of options for the lineouts.
Also while I'm sure Dan , Kieran and Uzair are disappointed not to be starting, I'm sure Brad is making them aware that these days the game is a 23-man game, as well as giving them a little break ahead of what will be a busy December period for us. No Davies, Kruger, Cummins, Rawlins or Kennedy in the 23 either. Brad looking to rest a few ahead of Ulster I feel.
