i have to say ,although the scoreline suggests it was a cracker,i personally think it was the opposite.it was one of the worst llanelli performances i've ever had the misfortune to watch.i actually left with 20 mins to go,so disgusted i was with our effort.shocking in the restarts(how many tries did pooler score from our inability to take a kickoff?),absolutely absmal 1st up tackling, wrong decisions time and time again, knock ons, forward passes, aimless kicking etc ,etc, llanelli need to wake up ,because if we go back to the gnoll in a few weeks time playing the type of garbage we played today, then neath will undoubtlely put 50 points on us.this was a totally unacceptable display i'm afraid today.

Agree with a lot of that tbh. Front row of Rhodri, Rhys, and Phil John didn't go that well, backs were caught out of alignment a few times so tries came from basic miss moves by Pooler.
Only notable plus was again Justin James...couple of outstanding plays for scores by him. Not sure who got MOM but it should have been him if it wasn't.

Couple of other observations...Dale F has beefed up, Rheon James didn't come on but in the warm up he looked
exactly the same size and shape as Rhodri! Hell of a slabyn!

Oh aye and the linesmen and ref tried everything to give pooler a pen in the last 5

i thought phil john was screwed in the scrum today as well, whether that was lack of match fitness or not ,i don't know.

Can understand the frustration about the performance, defence was shocking and decision making, when to run a penalty, when to kick etc. was poor.

BUT...

I really enjoyed the game today, the atmosphere and singing in S10, yes the singing in S10, was fantastic!

Massive praise is due to "The Voice" Llandre, who got things going and kept it going throughout the game. Fantastic, it was a great vibe at Y Parc today.

Big game midweek, lets get the choir going again, and if anyone else can make it, get over to 157cb and friends and lets crank it up.

Blydi fantastic day today! ClapClapClap

(P.S. Ref, once again! cronic!)

What happened to Llanelli's defence this afternoon, totally unacceptable! On a plus side though the singing was inspirational, it definitely helped to make the game more palatable and I think it helped the team grind out the win! Ref and linesmen were a disgrace once again and at the end of the game Buchanan didn't look too happy and had a quick word with the Ref Assessor sitting in front of us!

Slightly off topic but I would have watched the match if Llanelli weren't playing but does anyone out there know the Llandovery v Aberavon result??? Can't find it anywhere.

Why is the Llanelli v Pontypool result not on the BBC's Scrum V website . You can get the Tregaron v Fall Bay result but not the results or scorers of a match 6 divisions above them?
