come and support the boys in the Parc this saturday. they're playing great rugby at the moment and there's plenty of players that will be future scarlets -

Pooler game - could it be another try fest ?

By Kenny | 04 April 2011

Just a few weeks ago we travelled up to Pontypool park and ended up on the losing end of an eleven try spectacular. This coming Saturday we reverse the fixture and take on Pontypool, this time at the “Parc”. Whilst it might be too much to expect the same again [albeit with us coming out on top in the try count of course], nevertheless it seems that almost all Premiership games currently being played are high scoring affairs.

So, as “Pooler” pay us a visit, safe in the knowledge that their Premiership status is secure for another season, the chances are that this could be another really entertaining game. Yes, we missed out a few weeks ago but we did spurn a number of golden opportunities to score further tries, so the boys know that if they play to their potential they can go one better this week-end and further strengthen their play off ambitions.

Of course, “Pooler” will have something to say about that, and if they play as well as did on that day, they will pose a significant threat.

With the weather forecast predicting summer like conditions why not make your way to Parc-y-Scarlets this coming Saturday for another exciting 80 minutes of Premiership action.

Hope to see you there.

Koff 2.30pm 9th April

Should be a cracking game tomorrow,if the game up at Poola a few weeks back is anything to go by .

Looking forward to seeing Rhodri Jones playing Tight head, saw him play there for wales under 18s a couple of years back,he was outstanding .

no disrespect towards pooler, but i'd be very dissapointed if we don't put at least 40 points on them, especially with it being forcast for beautiful weather tomorrow.

That selection stood out for me too, be great for the Scarlets if Rhodri is an option on both sides of the scrum. Just got great vibes about Rhodri, hope he will be as good as his promise suggests.

Good Llanelli squad, should be a great afternoon.
