I'll speak with Highbury later Baz but at the moment this is looking the more realistic option.
Is it Henry, the mild mannered janitor?????

£400 not including travel to Southampton.
Good luck to them in getting 30 supporters for it.

They should be able to get a trip leaving from Parc y Scarlets for £250. Stick a min no. of 60 on it to help achieve it.
No point looking elsewhere and trying to save £40 or so then.

Would you be on for it, if it could be done for £250?

I know the club are doing this because some people always insist on 'the club putting on a trip', but it's really never, ever going to be possible to organise anything close to a value for money trip to central or southern France for a minimum of 30 people.

They did this for Perpignan last year and had the sum total of one bloke and his kid on the trip!

Is this a charter flight with the team? If so are the club trying to recoup the price by selling this package. It's really steep and can't imagine anyone being able to afford this. I remember for Toulon they had a decent price because a few supporters went on the trip. It's a shame as a decent price would really open these trips to a load more fans.

I was on the trip to Perpignan and it certainly wasnt the one man and his kid.

How many went then?

Southampton to Bergerac return flights, and a twin room for two nights in the Ibis, can be bought for £166 in total.

I certainly think Crys16 need to address this issue with the club. Affordable packages need to be an offer, or at least an explanation of how they came to that price. Not everyone is lucky enough to source their own transport. These trips should be run at cost price.

The airport coach transfer to and from Brive would certainly add to the cost but it is still way too high, I think, for those of us who have regularly done the French trips.

If the trip was cheaper i would defo go with the club but i feel that the prices they are offering arent within my budget, if i was to book it myself i would probably spend £400 in total throughout the weekend with spending money etc

Why cant they put together a package like they did with paris a few years ago when we had 2 full buses of paying supporters going from Stradey Park to Paris for £149.00

Probably the extra mileage beyond Paris means an overnight stop each way.

We've got 2/3 spaces in a car from Bergerac airport on Saturday.  Not sure about coming back as we're going over to Bordeaux to sort out a tour for our colts.
