Who's up for staying the Sunday night? £23.50 in Travelodge Northampton Central. Tempted, however the bus could be more economical.
Cartref newydd, Stadiwm newydd, Penod newydd, Yr un freuddwyd.

ARE WE HUMAN, OR ARE WE SCARLET?

All statements are my own personal opinions.

I beleive the club are allowing the fans the option of staying in northampton to watch the England game after our game. so this is a good option

Northampton are starting to sell tickets for this game today, I hope they have sent our allocation. But they have a strange marketing policy every season ticket holder can buy 5 tickets, when you have paid for the tickets you put your name down to have a final ticket saved if they get to the final.
Am I being thick or does this mean season ticket holders may miss out.
Also are we heading for the same terrace, it was more than ok last time.

When you look at the prices at Franklin Gardens you can see where they get the money to pay high wages. Another point I just went on the Scarlets official website where they say the club are running a bus to Northampton I hope thats a typing error and it should say buses.

You're right. The prices are steep.

I don't know if in middle England that's not viewed as much to fork out,but it even makes the other 3 regions look cheap!

Can't get over the fact of how much it would cost to watch the Dragons over the Scarlets!. If the Blues brought in £12 tickets they'd probably sell a few more.

Anyhow, I digress

What the Pricing doesn't show are the concessions. £18 for a Child/Student on the Terrace

Its still a bit steep though isn't it Scarletman. The Midlands is not the well payed area it was in the 60's and 70's.

Baz its all about economics mate. Saints pretty much fill FG for every game. Before folk moan about times being hard which I  appreciate. It is the same community that that goes and watches Wendyball games at CCS or the Liberty in huge numbers and paying alot more than to see rugby. Folk do not paying to watch regional rugby.

The thing is TF football prices have to be higher than Rugby because an average footballer earns in a week what a international Rugby player earns in a year.

Baz I am not justifying it! I am just saying its the same public in hard times that will pay bigger bucks in bigger numbers to go and watch football in Cardiff and Swansea than fork out to watch the Blues and O's. Poverty and unemployment in the region does not force people to go and watch football.

Northampton Town football are 2nd from bottom in the 4th tier of English football and the cheapest adult ticket for a home is £18.

Economics.

Saracens Aviva tickets range from £20-£55 (They cannot give them away)
Exeter Chiefs                                £26-£41

Bristol Rugby 2nd tier                   £16-£30

The fact of the matter is Scarlets tickets are cheap in comparison and apart from the loyal supporters on here that you all are, we still stuggle to put bums on seats in numbers.

Rant over sorry!!
