Italy's home Six Nations matches are set to be played in Florence after rugby bosses lost patience with owners of Rome's Stadio Flaminio. The Italian rugby federation has long bemoaned a lack of improvement work on its ageing facilities. It has now cited an "absence of a definitive and rapid resolution of the problems with the Stadio Flaminio". |

It's a bit run down but they have extended it with huge scaffolding so tickets are easier to get. Even though it's a small ground by international standards there's an excellent atmosphere there. There's a good supporters village outside too.
I've been to Rome for the past 2 games and was thinking of Paris next time round. Change of plan now I think. Florence instead.
