Depending on the date, I`ll try and speak to the club about getting tickets so we are all together.

London Welsh go under! Cannot believe they'll not be playing at Old Deer Park anymore.
What a shocker.

They haven't "Gone Under" yet, they are in administration. The Administrators are confident new investors can be brought on board.

Good as.  Only enough dosh to last the next month. About £1.5 million required to sort them out.  Be great if they do survive but in this current financial climate it's hardly likely I'm very sorry to say.

Hope London Welsh survive, have already sorted out 10 of us from London who were going to go to the RFC British Cup match, admittedly only 5 have any connection to Llanelli, the others will be 'Llanelli Fans' for a day. I am proud to say that one of them is my mates son 8 years old West London born and bred, (Dad's a QPR fan) who proudly wears a Scarlets shirt he was bought. There was a danger sometime ago he was going to get a 'hairspray' one!! Then it would have been an ex-mate!!

London Welsh Supporters Club

Old Deer Park,187 Kew Road, Richmond, TW9 2AZ

You will no doubt be aware that the London Welsh RFC Board of Directors has appointed administrators to manage the Club until further investment is sourced.

A decision regarding the future of the London Welsh will be taken in July so there is not a lot of time to save our Club and the club needs your support if you can help in any way at all, now.

There is, however, still positive news coming from London Welsh.

The players, including our exciting new signings and our two Melrose Cup winning squad members, are training hard in preparation for next season (you can see them in action at the Club’s training ground on Sat 4th July) and we also understand that every step possible is being taken to secure the necessary funding for us to take our place in the new Championship and the British and Irish Cup next season.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

We need to demonstrate to potential investors how important London Welsh is to us and that we will be supporting the team next season.

Pledges of financial contribution will be gratefully accepted but neither London Welsh RFC or the London Welsh Supporters Club are asking you to pay any money at this time.

You can help by pledging your ongoing support to London Welsh in a number of ways.

1.         Please email us at SaveLondonWelsh@googlemail.com and pledge to buy a season ticket for 2009/10.

2.         Please email us at SaveLondonWelsh@googlemail.com and pledge to become a member or patron of London Welsh.

3.         Contact the proposed new consortium at invest@londonwelshevents.co.uk to discuss investment opportunities at the club.

4.         Contact the club via commercial@london.welsh.co.uk to assist the club via direct sponsorship and benefit from all of the clubs marketing, advertising and hospitality packages.

Alternatively, if you do not wish to, or cannot email, then you are welcome to write to the supporters club at the address given above to outline your pledge of support.

London Welsh is YOUR club and part of YOUR community, so please, time is short.

Please register your interest and act NOW to help save London Welsh RFC.

Thank You

London Welsh Supporters Club

No doubt myself, Highbury Scarlet & his Mrs & Kev will be there as well. I`ll probably be bringing some Os fans and if Mike is up this way that weekend, no doubt he`ll come as well.

I,m moving flat and my new local will be a rugby pub and the landlord is rugby mad. Hes putting the word around and if he can get enough he may try to lay on a coach to Reading for the game. As hes irish he supports the Exiles. but the date will be dependant as if its friday night game it might not be viable.

Highburyscarlet Hows tricks?
10th of October London Irish in Reading.
Any views on an Expeditionary Force from the East laying siege to support the main attack from the West.
You mentioned about putting together a coach, or did someone say last season they could if they did in advance block book  a decent price on trains. Only a suggestion but RVP at Paddington, discuss tactics and lyrics and head west. My 2 cockney daughters (17 and 21) are already nagging me to go as although they are both Saracens season ticket holders and visited HQ on numerous occassions they said the atmosphere in the terrace at the Saints EDF match was the best they had ever been involved in. It took them a little while during the game to get into certain songs as they have a non Welsh speaking Dad!! But they were happy to IMPROVISE and join in and no one battered an eye lid. Youngest has already printed out the lyrics to Yma O Hyd with translation and wants to get the 'jist' of it by Reading!! This is where im after a favour, can anyone do the lyrics phonetically to help them and yes im ashamed, and me!!

I`ll be going home for the Leinster game but I thought a few of us could meet at the F3K in West Kensington to watch the Munster game. Anyone fancy this let me know.

As i'm not going to be that busy in September will start looking into venues and also see if we can get some type of discount on travel especially for the games i'm sure we'll all meet up for

Hi all,

Just a quick query in to how vibrant a 'community' the London Scarlets are?  I'm moving up in 4 weeks (on the day of the  Irish game!) and would like to get involved in any meets.

Thanks

Jon
