I think that was because Parc y Scarlets pitch was in a such a bad state, hopefully the game this saturday will be at the Parc!

Oh dear !

The income is good, but did we make a mistake in allowing the Swans to play on it ?

No we didnt. There's more to it than over use.
The stadium may change, but the dream will remain the same!

I had heard that they have a problem with a fungus or virus eating the roots, and that they can't get rid of it ! Current weather isn't helping either.

At this rate the pitch will be bare before the end of the season.

I can't see the Swans making any difference at all. If having football and rugby on a pitch ruined it, the Liberty would be wrecked by now. Its a disease and in all honesty, a full pitch replacement may be the only way.

But will this sort out the problem?? Is there any danger that the disease has got into the soild as well and it will simply come back again once a new pitch is laid??

Not sure but I have seen a new pitch being the only solution in the past at other venues. Don't forget the entire pitch and base would be stripped out and laid from new products grown specially so I would have confidence that it wouldn't fall foul again.
