It's Max.

Not sure about Warburton.  I think he's overhyped.  He hangs around the fringes a lot and just goes in for the occasional big play.  I'd be tempted to have Wallace at 7, if only for his performance against England.

Mae’r Scarlets nôl yn y gêm

Stand up if you're watching this at home, because that was one of the all time great Heineken Cup tries.

He wakes up and gives me sh*t, but here's the best part! She's with this golf pro, but she's married to some other guy! Some hotshot banker! And he's the one they pinned it on!

Heaslip. The most over rated forward around. After chabal. O'brien at 8. Wallace or warburton at 7. Ferris if fit at 6

Are you having a giraffe? Has he wronged you in another life? The guy's a fantastic number eight who had a stormer against England on the weekend. I also thought he had a great Lions tour.
He'd walk into the Welsh side.
But I do agree about Chabal.

Nope. Watch him. He stands at centre or wing for most of the game, but bags a try or two so everybody notices him. His work rate around the ruck and fringes is appauling for a backrow forward. Compare him to O'Brien or Ryan Jones or Kieran Reed or even the Scottish number 8 who's name escapes me.

I realise that number 8s are there to carry and provide a platform more than flankers, but he takes it to another level. It's fine if your team is dominant but he does not do the donkey work. He's a show pony and is overrated beyond belief.

Heaslip grabs headlines for his ability to score vital tries.
He is not a grunt forward so he is only an asset with a couple of grunt back rowers...give me Harry nor donkey any day...

I'd have to have Keith Earls in my team, love us to sign this guy, one to watch at the world cup imo.

I completely disagree with you folks about Heaslip, but I guess that's what the forum is for.
Earls did play well against England but I'm yet to be convinced that he's the real deal.
Tommy Bowe, on the other hand, is a player I'd give the keys to the Coffee Pot to if he was ever interested in coming west.

15 Foden
14 Bowe
13 BOD
12 Hook
11 Ashton

10 Flood
9 Youngs

8 O'Brien
7 Warburton
6 Haskell
5 Grey
4 O'Connell
3 James
2 Rees
1 Healy

I think Adam Jones and Gethin Jenkins would walk into the team if fit, and I would have a fit Courtney Lawes starting.

And I think The Swallower has done enough for a start on the wing. Wink

Aye Ashton is a little twirp but he's a good player with an eye for the try-line. I agree about Lawes, Gethin and Adam Jones as well. North could also well be in the starting line-up.

Anyone who thinks Heaslip doesn't do the grunt work is talking bollox, he's always near the top of the tackling stats in a game, brilliant carrying and handling and he's a major reason why Irish teams seem to be able to slow the ball down a lot legally.

P.S Wasn't he the Irish player who turnt the ball over and ran out of the Irish 22 at the weekend?

On Earls, the man is 23, a winger and a bloody flying machine. If he gets good ball he can rip teams to shreds, he himself was only recovering from a long term injury, as wass Rory Best, Paul O'Connell and Jamie Heaslip. They're hitting good form at the right end of the season for their the provinces
