Two very good articles in the Rugby Paper today, the first with regards 23 year old Johnny Williams our new centre signing .

The article is about Nick Tompkins , but he his basically saying that Johnny as all the tools to follow him into the Wales team, he says he his a strong runner and a good passing game .

The second article is regarding the 18 year old Harry Williams. the scrum half from Ipswich .

Harry joined the Scarlets as a 15 year old on a 5 year contract, he turned down a contract renewal at Northampton under18s to join us .The lad was a talented sportsman, as a 11 year old he was ranked three in England at tennis and a talented footballer ,with his home town Colchester looking to sign the talented right winger .

Thanks Mark. Nice to read that news.
Any offence taken on board is only a literate/cy consequence. Every attempt at humour is just that. No personal insult intended. Standards lowered for trolls.

As all us avid readers of the Clacton Gazette will know, Harry is an exciting prospect and we don't dish out 5 year contracts to many 16 year olds however promising. -

However still believe it might have been a good idea to retain Jonathon Evans for a little longer so that we have some proven experience in between Hardy and the youngsters.

Yes I recall the photo of Harry with parents and Gareth Jenkins and I think Kevin George when we signed him. I assume Gareth was on his case. Now he’s 18 he becomes increasingly valuable to us . Hopefully he will make the grade !
