What is it with this lot.

They come home to 'the sticks' for christmas like the prodigal son returning. The yharp on about how good life is in Ealing, Kew and Richmond, in their semi welsh / cockney accents, and then bugger off on the choo choo by new years eve!

They only frequent the bars in furnace, and you can spot them a mile off - ie. duffell coats and long scarves. They also tend to go for the traditional welsh ale's that they cant get their mits on in the big smoke. After three ales they tend to get a bit tipsy, they start to lose their contrived accents, and plead for you to 'come up and spend the weekend' with them in their 'maisonette' in chelsea or somewhere.

I say to you contrived cockneys, stay away next year, or ill strangle you all with your scarves!!

You know what i mean dont you maldwyn!

And whatever happended to that nasty brother of the crook that used to run the scoreboard with bentkins in stradey. I heard he buggered off to live with the rest of the 'lovies' in london. Havent heard from him since, even though there is a rumour that he regularly frequents this site!!

i know what you mean windell. they rock up at furnace's finest watering holes and look all cosy in their trendy jackets and scarves. they also strangely seem to think they've got one up on you because they live in london.
Fancy a cold one, Andy?

aye they're an odd bunch maldwyn. they often look down at people who still live here because we don't tend to wear fancy scarves and wooly gloves but they love their little trips around the UK and France to watch the clubs from "back home".
Fancy a cold one, Andy?

rumour has it that they are not slumming it with the townies in Toulon.  Instead they have opted for the high life of Cannes!
