I literally have zero recollection of the '94 game against Cardiff where we lost 15-8.

Wasn't there some controversy over Tarw's drop goal?  Something like it was a tap penalty as we had no right to kick direct for goal, but he took the drop kick before the opposition had touched the ball, which in effect was taking a direct kick at goal, so should have been disallowed - or have the years totally puddled my brain.

Does anyone remember much about this game?

My only recollection is the disappointment and the drabness of the game following three exciting finals. Pretty sure Neil Boobyer had to play fullback and it didn't work out too well.

100% correct, tarw made two game defining kicks in big matches this and what was the other one?

Yes that is correct, Rob. But prior to the DG, while Neath didn't fully regain possession, the ball had been competed for at a series of breakdowns and it was very unlikely that a Neath player hadn't touched it.

Also, there was around 20 minutes still to play, so it wasn't a last minute decisive moment really.

The score in the 2000/01 match was a 65 - 16 defeat. A painful experience!

Wasn’t it Tarw who hoofed it upfield for Ieuan’s try against England when he caught Underwood napping?

Been to every final even the defeat to Neath in 1972 I remember that one well, small crowd standing in the North stand. Robert Fouracre, a second row thrust into action at prop, disaster. Ball going through Roger Davies legs for a Neath try.

Mike trueman and Clive John played as well.  First ever penalty try in cup comp. for Llanelli by Andy hill.
Very small crowd 12000. If clashed with the fa cup final .
