Looking forward to the 2nd half of the season how about a trip to South Africa over Easter?

I have put a trip together with help from "toescapeto" which are a travel agency based in CapeTown. Have used this travel agency for all my trips to SA.

There are 2 options to choose from:

Option 1: Cost (Twin or double share £1,155pp) Single: £1,800

Sunday/Monday (5/6 April) - Flight from UK to Capetown
Transfer and check in to Radisson RED V&A Waterfront Cape Town ( 4 nights B&B)
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday pm/Thursday - Days at leisure to explore Cape Town at your own pace.
Tuesday Evening - GOLD Restaurant Dinner (including drumming)
Wednesday - Township tour with Uthando Philanthropic Cultural tours (morning only) - £80
Friday - Flight to Port Elizabeth airport
Transfer and check in to Radisson Blu Port Elizabeth (3 nights B&B)

Option 2: Cost same as above 1 + 2 nights Safari (will need to check out cost for this)

    Same as Option 1
Sunday/Monday - Transfer for 2 night stay at a Big5 Amakhala safari lodge within the malaria-free Eastern Cape. (included: Accommodation, meals, selected house beverages and 2 game drives per day (morning & afternoon)
Wednesday - Pickup and Transfer to airport for return flight to UK

Inclusions

    Accommodation as specified
    Transfers and Transportation as specified
    Gold Restaurant
Internal flights as specified (airfares are subject to change and availability at time of booking,

Exclusions:

Flights arriving and departing from Cape Town
    Travel Insurance
    Meals other than breakfast
    Township Tour
    Match Ticket

The itinerary will remain consistent for both options.

Plenty of recommend activities to do in Cape Town (excluded from package and to be settled direct)

Take a trip up Table Mountain by cable car, this is weather dependant
Robben Island is famous, or rather infamous, as the holding place for the imprisoned Nelson Mandela. Join one of the daily ferry departures which includes a guided bus tour on the island.
Visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - with time to browse these magnificent gardens set on the slopes of Table Mountain before returning to the city.
Take a drive along the spectacular Atlantic Seaboard. Driving through the coastal suburbs of Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, the impressive Twelve Apostles and Hout Bay - take a boat trip to see the Seal Colony.
Climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay, and stop at the south western most point of Africa - the fabled Cape of Good Hope. (A funicular is an optional extra for those who prefer)
Boulders Penguin Colony in Simons Town is home to a unique and endangered land-based colony of African Penguins
The Constantia Wine Valley is the most spectacular wine experience in the world and only a 15min drive from Cape Town. Offering a unique blend of centuries-old established wine homesteads and new stylish boutique wineries in a setting of unsurpassed beauty and heritage.
Visit the Zeitz MOCAA – Museum of Contemporary African Art. Housing the largest art museum in Africa, and the largest museum in the world showcasing the art of Africa and its diaspora. The museum is dedicated to researching, collecting, and exhibiting this art, and houses an impressive collection of work from all over the continent and beyond.

If you wish to book, please get in touch for further details via email. (enfys.jones@ntlworld.com) I need names by 24/1/20 so flights and hotels can be booked.

Can recommend this trip. Enfys goes to great lengths to organise super trips around rugby.

Amakhala is a lovely experience.

If you can, it’s worth the effort, time and money.
