I have my doubts about this sort of dynasty -Lewis is teeing up all his Aces in the pack -coach of the year etc to enhance his popularity as a great leader !

Giving any sports coach a long term contract can kick you in the nuts. If Wales don't get out of the group at the next World Cup everyone who thinks he is unbeatable now will soon be jumping on his back, after they have crucified the outside half.

I agree but he could well be the outsider we need to act as a go between the WRU and regions. What I mean by outsider he is not Welsh and the politics that goes with it wont be so engrained in his mind. |

Unless he's got a couple of release clauses, of course - one for the Lions and one for when the All Blacks come knocking. If Wales bomb in RWC 2015, it won't be his fault, unless it turns out he could have influenced Roger to keep more players playing in Wales. |

How can folk generally think this Gatland is the Messiah and that Wales are closer to winning a WC. In 27 matches against Aus, NZ and SA he has won just one match. Yes he won a Lions Series but that was against an Oz side that are a long way behind their SH neighbours. I accept he has Sussed how to beat the 6N opposition but the quality of NH rugby is not brilliant.
