Congratulations Tex. Hopefully Lousi wont be banned. Looking at the slow-mo it looked bad, but the attacker lowered their body position after they caught the ball, not sure if that will mitigate the punishment but hopefully so.

Well done Tex, leaves us little light at second row, the depth being tested, maybe Kennedy to move up or back the next generation in Helps/Price/Jones alongside Lewis?

With the injuries, call ups & (pending) suspension, I am sat here thinking there is a high chance we may win 2 of our next 6 games. Benneton will not be easy, they pushed Leinster on the weekend, I'd like to think we'll beat Edinburgh & Zebre.

Then we have back to back trips to Ireland to face the 2 sides least affected by call ups, Connacht & Ulster before finally Leinster at home.

With the exception of Losi(arguably?),all these absences could have been predicted.Shouldn't they have been planned for?

We sign overseas players to cover International windows, and they are also missing .

Let's be honest with the shambles of the season we have now, our recruitment there as not been good .

I am only confident of beating Zebre right now.

I was being optimistic! Our season could well be done by the European break.

Tough one for nwq recruitment , you want guys of a certain level of ability but if they are going to be away during international rugby then are they really worth having?

how much rugby will we get out of blade this year with ai and 6 nations games?

Someone like kruger who is here all season is ideal tbh

Yes. I thought the same about Fonotia. At 30, and only making himself available for the last RWC I thought he effectively made the decision on his future for the club.
Tex hasn't much of a top tier pedigree thus far, so to lose him to an international call up is unfortunate.
