Right, what actually is the situation of our long term injured players? In particular, Foxy, Cubby and Blade.

I would add Jake to that list. My only news which I can share is that Foxy is back running.

There was an article in today’s Rugby Paper that basically said that Jon Davies would be back fit for the start of next season, and possibly the two remaining derbies this season. He’s been training hard on his own, but because he hasn’t had access to our physios for the last few months, might not be risked this season. They said he’d be assessed when he comes back in this week.

Patchell is back fit and Ball and James Davies are “progressing well”. There was no mention of Blade in the article.

Thanks for the replies! It's so frustrating not knowing exactly what's going to happen with these players!

The last Official post re blade was that he was still suffering from concussion - though that was a while back but it’s worrying that no official update has been forthcoming.

Remind me again. He has long stay way from game due to injury, goes to the RWC with Scotland, but then picked up another concussion with Scarlets (in what game?) and is still off?

The guy needs to take a break from rugby if still off now, just for his own health. Its not worth it.

The Scarlets Tweeted on 24 June "Cant wait to see @SanjayWills and @JonFoxDavies back in Scarlet this season!".
Foxy tweeted on Nov 23rd that he'd had the operation. He was said initially to be out for 6 months that was up in May. We are set to play on August 22nd that's nine months after surgery. I know he might not have had one to one physio but surely he would have been given or even know the re-hab exercises to do?

It would be really disappointing if he wasnt fit for our return to rugby.

Disappointing is not the word. Im astonished that we still have players not fit after all this time.

Yes he looks “ very well “ 🤨 Rather too well perhaps with all the time off to get body in shape. I can see some tough training sessions for him to get the “ chubby “ off “ cubby” .🤨

Hell argue it’s the effect of the hairstyle, or lack thereof.Wink
