Adams is not better than McNichol

I think Adams is better by some distance tbh, in fact right now I'd say Adams is the best winger in the uk and ireland

I'd take Stockdale every day.

up until jan yes i would have agreed with you but Not on this years 6 nations, stockdale had a shocker vs England and was poor vs us

We're not very very far apart - both would be in my starting line up if selecting a Lions team today!!!!

If I had to choose my Lions wingers today it would be Adams and Stockdale with May and North behind that. Watson has been out  injured so difficult to tell where he would fit in the ranking.

We can’t sign everyone. Adams easily makes it into any side on current form. A year ago I doubt he would have displaced johnny, steff or halfpenny in our team. Cardiff is the safe option, starts when he can and fit for Wales plus they probably spent more than we could offer.
Johnny has been stellar since he got here barring a couple of bad games at fullback, keeping him should be a priority but losing him won’t break us.

no one is suggesting we sign everyone?????

the question is are we signing anyone ??? and are we re-signing our best wingers?

Clap exactly - look at the backs we have lost or could have had in under 2 years (Liam, DTW, Scott, North, Adams - maybe he is 3 years); now look at what we have left - I think the Blues have leapfrogged us, we should be way ahead

No one has a crystal ball to see if players who leave will be good anywhere else.

Whatever anyone thinks of Steff, his try scoring record is absolutely outstanding.

Can't argue that he is one of our few sparks in the back line, without Steff patch or McNichol we do lack creativity

stef is the biggest game breaker we have, in terms of ability to beat a man he is probably the best  in wales

At test level he is may lack speed but even there his try scoring record is  very good

Not sure what has happened this year or whose fault it is but we need to keep him imo as his best years are still to come

Although it is hard to see him figuring much for wales under pivac

Yes, between he and McNichol they average a try a game for us. Good return by any standard.

It’s been on an odd old season for Steff...just 3 league starts...but started all 6 European games ( and despite us being 1/5 in the comp is joint 2nd try scorer in the Comp to date with 5).

I dunno...

Its utterly bizarre. I can't remember a player who has risen and fallen (in the eyes of the coach) so quickly.

he was off injured for a while then he was kept in the rfc for a while supposedly to let him get back into the swing it it all gradually...but hes sort of remained on the fringes ever since...bizarre and the interviewers never seem to ask him about it?
