Two more South African sides are set to join the Pro 14 from 2019/20, with a further side to join the following season.
It's understood that the Natal Sharks are set to follow the Cheetahs & Kings by joining the league in 2019/20 with the Lions and the Stormers the most likely to follow suit, though which of those two would join first is unclear. |

16 teams in a competition is an easier number to work with, but I would have preferred Heidelberger RK from Germany.
