It shows you are reaching old age when all your favourite musical acts pass away. Today a rather well known soul man Dobie Gray passed away aged 71. If you think you dont recognise the name he sang the original version of the In Crowd and he filled Northern Soul dance floors for over 30 years. Time to join the soulfull choir Dobie.

I actually remember seeing a programme with Dobie in on tv last year ...He was doing a show in the us with Sony and Cher back in the aerly 1970's..Good singer but not as good as Leonard Cohen....

Sonny Bono helped Dobie Gray in the mid sixties when he just started out in the music buisness.
