The only player so far that has played brilliant in every match so far and should be given this honour is Dwayne Peel. he is rapidly becomming one of the best scrum halves in the world. The biggest waste of space however goes to our own orange person Gavin Henson. Trouble there being is that I think he is starting to believe all the hype that is written about him. Throughout the series he has missed tackles, thrown hospital passes to the person outside him. He had the chance to make it big but I am afraid he has blown it. I cannot understand what all the fuss is about over him. He played one match reasonably well in the 5 nations then did nothing for the rest. The same has happened over here. He played one reasonable match then nothing.

i have to agree about henson, he looked out of his depth today. i thought easterby was the best lion on the pitch today. also wilkinson is nowhere near his best and should not be selected for the third test.

Easterby was the Lions MotM IMO. Our worst player? Probably Shane unfortunately. |

shane 'can score but can't stop tries' williams today was the worse 'performance' of the tour. i've said all along not to let him start against NZ, what happened? scored 5 tries against some farmers and the welsh likkle wonder kid is world class. missed 3 tackles that led to tries and wasn't handed off by players but flicked off. easterby impressed me a lot though. anyway, i thought with our welsh wonderboys we were going to win weren't we? roll on 2017 |

Agree about Shane. Can't believe he was allowed the full 80 minutes. Had we had a tackling winger on the pitch then we would not have not relinquished the lead so easily. We wouldn't have won, but it wouldn't have been 48 points either. Henry didn't like playing Shane when he was Welsh coach as he was too small, and that thought was proven right today. Henson did one good try saving tackle (or bundle) and then disappeared into the night for the rest of the match. Julian White will probably be cited for his stamp but the ref allowed the NZ back row to lie off side all through the game. It really is a different game in the Southern Hemisphere. When, for heaven's sake, are the IRB going to get all the top refs in one room and tell them to interpret the game the same way? Since when has blocking, holding on to the ball on the floor, crossing and killing the ball on the floor been legal in rugby? Perhaps I missed the rule changes? All that apart, the All Blacks were awsome. As usual, they are peaking in between World Cups. Oh, and Easterby was superb.

Easterby was superb, Ryan Jones was good and has been superb. Two players not even picked for the original squad!!
Henson showed for what he is when not playing against an 18 year old rookie!! Unfortunately Shane out of his depth. Steven Jones looked sharp when he came on after the disgracefull way he was treated in the first test. Steven to reclaim his place for next week making it THREE Scarlets and ONE****play!! |

I think henson was worse than shane, the problem withSW is that he`s too small and too light and he did`nt have much of a chance to run with the ball. |

shane and wilko get joins worst because they both missed SO many tackles it was shocking. the two best had to be peel and easters, i cnt choose between them, if i had to it would be simon |

Charlie Hodgson has had a realy good tour, Easterby has also been tremendous! but despite that no one has really stood out for me, Henson has had a very poor tour, despite all the media and public hype before the tour! Quite disgusted really considering the resources and the millions spent on the toyr, rumored to be £10m. Also feel sorry for the thousands who have spent hard earned money travelling around the world to watch that crap!
