Didn't expect a large crowd on a Thursday (I couldn't go as I have other commitments on a Thursday), can't expect a large crowd for a reserve match, with the expense of three home internationals on the horizon.

I find it hard to understand why the Ospreys didn't move this game and pack Aberavon to the rafters, or move to the Gnoll, St. Helens, or Bridgend?
All those options, and I know TV can definetly go to Neath, St. Helens and Bridgend, and thinking about it Aberavon aswell. All these resources, yet they decide to stick 2,500 fans in a 20,000 seater stadium. This way, you keep the punters from that area happy and still atract the regulars. What about going to schools and giving them each a wodge of freebies for kids too? Unbelievable and for once, shoddy marketing by the "One true Galacticos region." 12.5% full. And as for the freebie angle, why are you assuming they didn't do that already. I for one know freebies don't always work seeing as our office was swimming with tix from LV and precisely 1 ticket was taken up. Also hasn't someone on here already stated that the crowd was swimming in schoolkids? |

Pretty poor by the Os, though TBF they had nothing to go for in the LV.
Our attendance is down as 5671, which seems pretty good (including season tickets?). Just a pity we blew it. |

lets be honest here now if the ospreys took the game to a smaller ground around the region then they would have had a few regular supporters who go to the liberty all the time and then they also would have had alot more supporters who dont normally go to the liberty but would have visited if it was just down the road from their home and also it owuld have cost them alot less to open a place like st helens or talbot athleti ground
but one question is if we had a game like that would we take it around the region? |

I think the attendance was 5,600 ,which was more than we expected, and was pretty good considering the Wales v England game,we stayed on and watched the game in the barn and enjoyed it -apart from the result that is.
