Heard him on the radio earlier and he was pretty cheesed off that faw aint even bothered to contact him since the death of speed . Would have thought they would have spoken to him seeing as he is the captain .

He also said the players dont want a new manager and that they want the assistants to carry on as they are . If the faw were adamant about getting a new boss he wants rush or giggs .

I'd go along with that .

FFS picking a new coach shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with the players!!

Who do they think they are, god's gift or what!!

Do you see Joe Bloggs down the street being asked who they want as their work boss?? NO!!

Footballers really do my head in, sorry!! AngryClown

I agree, keep the solid momentum that Gary developed. Haydn wouldnt we all like to choose our bosses, instead of being lumbered with jerks who pretend to know everything....

Sorry to point this out, but some companies are now giving employees an input in selection procedures.

When appointing school Heads, prospective candidates usually appear before the pupils, and when our head was appointed, the three candidates had to speak to a group of staff also. The staff's and pupils views were put to the governors.

Don't agree with it at all sorry.

Ah the pull rank syndrome, autocratic and Democratic bosses. Autocratic are idiots and democratic get more done, i know who i would want to run a business. Worked for both styles and for me there is only one clear winner.
The Autocrate cannot change their approach, the Democratic one can.

If it was a club boss maybe haydn would have a point . We have never had it so good with players turning up and wanting to play for wales . We cant afford to ruin it .

Did you hear about all the QPR players texting their Chairman to thank him for choosing Mark Hughes to replace Warnock?? Is this a) fair on Warnock and b) good that players are getting cozy with the Chairman??

I really can't differentiate between club and country managers TBH

There aint a difference between club or country managers but there is with players . Do you think the players play for wales for money ? They get peanuts to play for wales if anything at all . We need them to be motivated thats why they all jacked it in when toshack was there

But maybe that's the difference now that professional footballers are getting a hell of a good screw for playing for their club and peanuts for their country. There used to be a time that players wanted to represent their country and it was the ultimate accomplishment if you'd represented your country - regardless of who the manager is.

Nowadays, players IMO aren't concerned if they play for their country or not - as long as they get a good payday from their club they're happy.

Is this to do with too much money in football??

I see this coming to Rugby too IMO. Players willing to go to France for the money, therefore putting their Wales careers in jeopardy. Would players have been willing to put their Wales hopes in jeopardy before the game went professional? Would they hell, it's all to do with money. It used to be based on pride - not any more.

I'd agree with that up to a point. Players still want to play for their country, but sadly only so that it will increase their transfer fees in footie. Perhaps I'm being cynical but there we go !

Considering the circumstances of the past mangaers departure i would have though that the FAW would have spoke to Ramsey.
